  1. What splashback glass colours are available?

    We have a standard range of 70 colours from which you can choose which can be viewed in our showroom in Northgate (view the map). We can also colour match to any type of paint for no exta cost.

  2. What's the process for installing glass splashbacks or feature panels?

    For an accurate measure and quote, your kitchen, including bench tops and range hoods etc., needs to be complete. Upon acceptance of the quote and payment of the deposit, the spashback will be manufactured in seven to ten working days. We will then make an appointment to perform the installation (which usually takes less than two hours). Upon completion of the installation, the balance of the quote will be paid.

  3. How do I keep my glass panel looking its best?

    The surfaces of Formed Glass' glass panels should be kept clean and free of surface build up. General household glass cleaning agents are suitable and can be used with a chamois, soft sponge or cloth, however you should avoid using scouring pads, steel wool or grit patches as these can cause surface scratches.

  4. What advantages do glass splashbacks have over tiles?

    • Cleaning is easiser because there are no grout lines.
    • There is a large range of colours from which to choose.
    • Installation usually takes less than ?? hours.

  5. What shapes are available?

    Glass panels can be cut to almost any shape or size (including round and wavy shapes) and can include artwork or logos slumped into the design. Most splashbacks are rectangular and can include cut-outs in the corners, centre or for powerpoints. Textured glass can have flat sections to allow for holes, fixing or signage.

  6. Is textured glass safe for partitioning?

    Six of our standard patterns of textured toughened glass have been certified as Grade A safety glass (AS. 1288 2006) and it would require a substantial impact to break it. It is very safe for use at home, the office or in public spaces.

  7. How experienced is the Formed Glass team?

  8. Which areas do you service?

    We service and install across the Greater Brisbane Area and the Sunshine Coast and we can also arrange for goods to be freighted all over Australia if requested.
